About Sitpi Academy
சிந்துஜா தவராசமித்திரனால் முற்றுமுழுதாக இணையத்தளத்தில் தொடக்கப்பட்ட சிற்பி தற்போது நேரிலும் இடம் பெற்று வருகின்றன. மூன்று வயதில் இருந்து, வயதெல்லையற்ற அனைவரும், ஆர்வமாகத் தமிழ் மொழியைக் கற்கும் தளமாக அமைந்து இருக்கிறது. தமிழ் வகுப்புகள் மட்டுமல்லாமல், தமிழ் கொண்டாட்டங்கள், நிகழ்ச்சிகள், நினைவு நாட்கள், பேச்சு போட்டி, தமிழ் மரபுத் திங்கள் போட்டி, வெயிலோடு விளையாடு என்ற விளையாட்டுப்போட்டி என பலதரப்பட்ட தமிழ் சார்ந்த அனைத்து செயற்பாடுகளிலும் மாணவர்கள் பங்குபற்ற சிற்பி வழியமைத்துக் கொடுக்கிறது. எமது மாணவர்களும் அவர்களின் ஆசிரியர்களின் ஊக்குவித்தலோடும், பெற்றோரின் ஆதரவோடும் அனைத்திலும் ஆர்வமாக ஈடுபடுகிறார்கள்.
தாய் மண்ணைப் பிரிந்து கடல் தாண்டி வாழ்ந்தாலும் தடைகளைத் தாண்டி இணைக்கும் தொப்புள் கொடியே 'தமிழ்'.
On May 21, 2020, Sitpi Academy was founded by Sindujah Thavarasamithiran, on a dream to sculpt the next generation of students to embrace their Tamil identity, by instilling the Tamil language, history, culture and values within them. The struggle Tamil Diaspora endured to sustain the Tamil Language and the failure to pass it on to the younger generations, was the core driving force to build a TAMIL school for the next generation of TAMILS, where they can come together to learn, celebrate and identify with one another.

தமிழ்மொழியும் ஓர் ஒட்டுமொழி என்பதனால் தமிழ்மொழியின் அமைப்பியலின் அடிப்படையிற் தமிழையும் ஒலியன்கள், அசைவுகள், சொற்கள், தொடர்கள் எனத் தமிழின் தோற்றத்தின் வழிநின்று கற்பிப் பதற்கான கற்பிப்தல் முறையானது திரு. சு. இராசரத்தினம் அவர்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு அதற்கமைவாக படிமுறைத்தமிழ் என்னும் நூல்கள் ஆக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இக்கற்பித்தல் முறைமூலம் இலகுவாக விரைவாக விருப்புடன் தமிழை முற்றிலும் தெரியாதவர்களும் கற்றுவருகின்றார்கள் என்பது குறிப்பிடத் தக்கது.
Padimurai Tamil is a methodology of teaching Tamil developed by Mr. S. Rajaratnam, Founder and president of Canadian Tamil Sankam that focuses on the phonetics of the language. This puts importance on learning the sounds and syllables within the language in order to understand the language quickly. Padimurai Tamil does not assume any of its learners have knowledge of Tamil prior to the classes. Instead, it groups students according to their language proficiency, whether it be a beginner or advanced, and teaches Tamil as a Second language.
